Boogerman is a humorous side-scrolling action-adventure game developed by Interplay Productions and released in 1994. You play as the titular character, a superhero with a bizarre power: he can pick his nose and create various booger-based attacks to defeat his enemies.

The game takes place in the fictional city of Boogerville, which is being terrorized by a group of villains led by the evil Booger Meister. It's up to Boogerman to use his unique abilities to save the day.

The gameplay involves running, jumping, and fighting through multiple levels filled with traps and enemies. Boogerman can attack using boogers of various consistencies, from slow-moving snot to explosive gas clouds. He can also use his flatulence as a weapon.

In addition to the standard levels, Boogerman also features special "gross-out" stages where the player must dodge obstacles while avoiding contact with disgusting bodily fluids like vomit and pus.

The graphics and sound are both colorful and cartoony, with plenty of over-the-top animations and sound effects to fit the game's comedic tone.

Despite its gross-out humor, Boogerman received generally positive reviews upon release for its solid gameplay and sense of humor. It has since become something of a cult classic among retro gaming enthusiasts.
